Most of our 2026 harvest is in, but the fall crops are still coming. Right now we have lettuce, hot and sweet peppers and eggplant. It's a mix of varieties at this point in the season. Peppers and eggplant last until the first frost, and lettuce can hang on a bit longer.

What's coming in

Lettuce: heads and leaf lettuce from our fall planting. Lettuce likes the cool nights, and it's crisp and sweet this time of year.

Hot peppers: Thai chili (bird's eye), Thai Dragon, serrano and poblano.

Sweet peppers: Carmen sweet Italian and bell peppers.

Eggplant: Ping Tung long and classic Italian.

How to keep it

Lettuce goes in the fridge crisper and keeps about a week. Peppers keep 1 to 2 weeks in the crisper. Eggplant doesn't like the cold, so keep it in the coolest spot in your kitchen and use it within a few days. Wash everything before you eat it.

Got more hot peppers than you can use? Wash and dry them, then freeze them whole in a bag and take out what you need.

How to get some

It's first come, first served, and supplies change week to week. Text or email us to see what's ready, and we'll set up a pickup spot in Perrysburg. Bulk orders are welcome.

Once the hard frosts come, that's it until next summer, when we'll have tomatoes, peppers, eggplant, cucumbers, beans, onions, potatoes, garlic and zinnias.
