The classic Key lime pie lime — small, round, very aromatic fruit with sharp, tart juice for pies, margaritas, salsa and marinades. Bears through much of the year. The most cold-tender citrus, so bring it in early. Matures 8–9 ft in the ground.

How to grow it in Ohio: Pot into a 10–14" container with fast-draining citrus mix. Full sun outdoors once nights stay above 50°F; bring indoors to your brightest window before nights drop below about 40°F. Water when the top 1–2 inches are dry. Feed citrus fertilizer spring through late summer. Self-fruitful.
